Daniel is from Orange county North Carolina. He was a member of Lytles troops, 
enlisted in Orange County 1779. One of the first families of Tennessee. He is buried 
on private property in Kepler Tennessee in Hawkins county. Many of his descendants 
are buried in two cemeteries nearby. See Peggy Jones book "Daniel Jones and
his descendants"  I am a 6th generation grandson of his. My grandfather was Grover 
Cleveland Jones. Also attached are pictures of the remains of a mill built by Daniel 
Jones. It is on Beech creek near Keplar Tennnessee. If you would like more information,
