This information is contributed by Ron Hicks Isaac Hicks enlisted for the time of two years & six months on the 16th day of April in the year 1776 in the State of North Carolina in the company commanded by Captain John Dickerson of the light horse in the regiment commanded by Col. Archibald Lytle in the Line of the State of North Carolina on the Continental establishment. He continued to serve until 16 October 1778 when he was discharged from the said service in Halifax in the State of North Carolina. Isaac Hicks is recognized by the DAR in the State of Georgia, Oglethorpe County. |
