Can anyone help with these queries? Or surnames?

MARCH 2008

Edward Richard Tinney a single boy was in the rev. War from Halifax Co. His father was
Edward Tinney from there also. E. R. T. I found in S. C. Charleston and then in Newberry
co. S. C. From there I found him in Savanah, Ga. when he drew his last Gov. money in
1820. I have been trying to find his grave so it could be marked with a tomb. I have not
found it yet. I would like for him to be listed in Halifax Co. for sure. They went to the
antrim Parish Church...His bro. Was William Tinney who married Elizabeth Poynor. In
his Will he mentioned E. R. Tinney .
