North Carolina Revolutionary War

Surname Registry, Queries and Index, 2010

Can anyone help with these queries? Or surnames?

MARCH 2010

I am researching on Joseph Coleman who was the first mayor
of Nashville . I have very little on his early life. The local newspapers of his time bear
claim that he was a veteran of the Revolutionary War. Some claim him to be an
officer. I am presuming that he came from North Carolina . I found on your site in Pierce’s
Register a Joseph Coleman 90665. How would I find out more from this information? I do
know that Joseph died on February 8, 1819 in Huntsville , Alabama .
Thank you for any help that you may give me.
