My 5 g grandfather fought in the militia in the Revolutionary War. His name is 
Hezekiah Posey and he lived in the area 96, Abbeville, No.Carolina. I have a copy of the 
hand written account of his service and some copies of pay stubs. One of the officers he 
served under was Captain Andrew Pickens. 
He was shot by the Tories and almost died, a brother Richard and Dr. Harris treated him. 
His son Joseph Harrison Posey fought in the war of 1812.
