This information is contributed by Jackie Purdy LOTT GREGORY, Private, New Bern Militia, DAR Patriot Index Lott Gregory was born circa 1742, probably North Carolina. At the time of the American Revolution he was evidently living in Johnston county, since the official records, Certificate # 589, shows that he was paid for specie for service to North Carolina Militia while serving under Captain Smith’s company. Lott Gregory was living on a plantation on tract of Gaylor’s Branch, near Turkey, until his death September 23, 1823. Lott Gregory was married to Nancy (last name unknown) Lott Gregory was my 4th Great Grandfather. |
